3D printing for Jamnagar's brass workshops, refinery vendors and exporters

Jamnagar is known as the Brass City, and its workshops turn out brass parts and extruded rods for buyers in India and abroad. We help those workshops, and the engineering vendors around the refinery belt, see a part before they commit to dies or stock. Send a drawing or a worn sample and we print a prototype, a gauge or a display model. Everything is made at our one studio in Satellite, Ahmedabad, then couriered to Jamnagar or kept for you to collect. We have no office in Jamnagar.

What we make

Brass part pattern samples

A resin or nylon copy of a fitting, valve component or bracket, so a customer can hold and check it before a brass run is planned. We print the sample; we do not turn or cast brass.

Inspection gauges and holding jigs

Go and no-go style gauges and simple holders for the shop floor, printed in nylon or PETG for a unit that checks the same part many times a day.

Maintenance spares for plant vendors

Guards, covers, clips and handles for equipment in the refinery supply chain, reverse-modelled from a worn part where the geometry allows.

Export display and packaging models

Enlarged product models and laser-cut acrylic stands that show a brass range clearly on a buyer's table or at a trade fair stall.

Bandhani display pieces

Laser-cut acrylic stands, sample boards and label plates for textile traders who sell the red tie-dye work Jamnagar is known for.

Who we make it for

  • Owners of brass-part workshops who need a visual or fit sample before turning or forging
  • Engineering vendors and contractors who supply maintenance items to the refinery belt around Jamnagar and Vadinar
  • Brass exporters preparing catalogue samples, packaging mock-ups and display models for overseas buyers
  • Bandhani and textile exporters who want display stands and laser-cut acrylic signage
  • Engineering and design students at Jamnagar colleges building project prototypes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have an office in Jamnagar?

No. Layer X has one studio, in Satellite, Ahmedabad. Your work is made there and couriered to Jamnagar, or you can collect it from us.

Can you print brass parts?

No, we do not turn or cast brass. We print resin, nylon and plastic samples so you can check shape and fit before you order brass, and we can quote DMLS metal printing where a metal part is truly needed.

I make brass fittings and have only a sample, no drawing. Is that enough?

Often yes. Send the sample photos with the key dimensions you know and our engineers will say whether we can model it, or what we need to measure on your side.

How long will a sample take to reach Jamnagar?

The build takes 2-6 days depending on the process. Courier transit time is confirmed with your quote because it depends on the carrier and route.

Do you take small orders from a small workshop?

Yes. There is no minimum order, so a single gauge or one sample part is a normal job for us.
